Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join their client's dynamic team. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks across commercial buildings, office, and warehouse spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The position is based in Baltimore, MD, supporting four locations, with mileage reimbursement available for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks in various fields such as carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and plumbing.
• Conduct minor electrical maintenance, including the replacement or repair of fixtures like wall switches, outlets, and light bulbs.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks in drains and faucets and unclogging drains.
• Execute minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, and varnishes.
• Maintain surfaces and paint structures and equipment to prevent corrosion and maintain a comfortable working environment.
• Order parts and maintain necessary documentation for maintenance activities.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
• Work independently, managing urgent projects and long-term maintenance tasks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Must have transportation and a valid driver's license; forklift experience is a plus.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Benefits

• Salary range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour.
• Mileage reimbursement for travel between supported locations.

Additional Details

This position requires working under environmental conditions that may include extreme heat or cold, noise requiring hearing protection, and exposure to electricity, lubricating fluids, cleaning solvents, paints, and solvents.
